Oath invitation after online citizenship test

My wife just got invited for the test. We are flying to Toronto for the test but debating our return flights.

We are in Mississauga, Ontario. What timelines are you seeing for your oath invitations?

Your wife has 21 days to perform online test any where in Canada, she will get the test result same day. Remember your wife will be in quarantine for 14 days so make sure she has a laptop & stable internet connection access

Yes, we will be arriving in Canada within her 21 days time period.

We have to go back after spending 20 days in Canada (quarantine included) as I am dealing with a tragedy back home.

I took test on 23 Jan and still no sight of decision made or the Oath invite. I am in GTA. Same is true for all GTA applicants, including Misssauga. Keep 4 to 5 weeks in mind after the test. Sometimes, IRCC send a short notice for Oath (someone on this forum was sent a notice for Oath a day before ceremony).

which location are you . i am from Scrborough and took my test on 7th Feb and when i called CIC help desk today morning they mentioned that my file still did not show that i took the test and passed is this normal.

There is no specific timeline for Oath after test, it could be any where between 1-3 months.

Unfortunately, we both cannot stay. We have a return ticket with free changes. We will change the ticket and come back when the invitation comes in.

Yes, the restrictions are getting stronger, which is good for the public. We arrive in Canada just a few days before they start the hotel requirement.

Hoping for the best for the wife and everyone else.
