I have a question for those who have been to the oath ceremony: it seems we have to bring all original documents and passports to thr ceremony AGAIN (though we have already showed them at the interview). Do they check ALL of them again?

Nah. They have a quick look at your passport, take the oath letter and verify that you signed it, take your PR card. It's a fast process since people are in line waiting after you.

Could anyone advice..
Is it normal to receive prohibition letter with oath invite ? Do we sign it on the day of oath ?

Any suggestion about taking an infant to Oath Ceremony on our own or must arrange a child care?

Hello

Can you share your final experience ? was the child with you ?

I have a 3.5 year old (already Canadian by birth), will she be allowed to sit with the family that will be taking the oath ?

Thanks

My oath invite has both as well, it seems to be normal :)

are you also in Montreal?
No, I am in Vancouver. I have seen several reports of people receiving it though, and several different versions of the documents to bring etc.
I also know that they ask you to sign it again (usually) before the oath, per reports here in the forum :) there's really no problem, especially if nothing changed :)
