what time frame for oath did the cic officer tell you? for our case, its 2-3 months.

He said it will be "few weeks"

I read in another topic ( Ottawa applicants ) that some will have also their oath September 25 . Did u have decision made in August ? Mine August too .

Yes CIC-Ottawa added September 23, 24 and 25 to the list but I think we need more dates.

So by right, you should be receiving your oath first before ours. Once you receive your oath invite, it will then be just a matter of time before we receive ours. Our timeline is in my signature.

I'm game to go anywhere they want us to go for the oath within Ottawa.

If this is an alternative venue aside from Catherine St. to speed up the oath process, then kudos to CIC Ottawa.

Thanks for the info. My wife and I were actually toying with the idea of writing to our MP if it is possible to have the oath before the election, but we abandoned that idea.

I guess the new venue will enable Catherine St. to cater to more people then.
