Well, first I would suggest that you do the necessary calculations to determine whether or not your application has a problem.

1. Count the number of full-time weeks (any week that included 37.5 hours or more).
2. For all part-time weeks (any week with fewer thant 37.5 hours), add up the hours, then divide by 37.5 - that gives you the number of full-time equivalent weeks.
3. Add the full-time weeks and FTE weeks - if you have 104 , then you're OK. If not, then your application will probably be refused.

If you don't have the experience, you could withdraw your application and re-apply under the new rules. Be sure that you obtain an up-to-date letter of employment.

6.3. Full-time work

Pursuant to R73(1), “full-time work” means at least 30 hours of work over a period of one week, and pursuant to R73(2) “work” means an activity for which wages are paid or commission is earned.

The full-time work experience requirement for applicants in the CEC may be met by the equivalent in part-time, paid work experience (e.g. more than one part-time job held simultaneously or one or more part-time jobs held over the equivalent of at least one year of full-time work).

Work experience can be calculated by adding up the number of weeks of full-time (or equivalent) paid work (i.e. 30 hours per week in one job, or a total of at least 30 hours per week in more than one job) in one or more skilled occupations at Skill Type 0 (Managerial occupations), Skill Level A (Professional occupations) or B (Technical occupations and skilled trades) of the NOC. Work experience must be acquired over a period of at least one year; work in excess of 30 hours per week over a shorter period cannot compensate for any shorter overall period of experience.

That is the current rule. I applied in December 2012, at that time the rule was to have 2 years of full time experience with 37.5 hours equivalent week.

Remember to count your hours to make sure you are eligible before you send in your next application.

Number of Weeks at or above 30 hours/week = A
If A>52, you are eligible.
If A<52, add number of hours in weeks where you worked below 30 hours/week = B
B/30 = C
If A+C>52, you are eligible.
If A+C<52, you are not eligible.

Hi Spookyb

As of now I have around 112 weeks of experience with 40 hours/week full time. So, I guess it should be good enough. Thank you very much for replying immediately...

Sad part i lost my fee (for me and my spouse), nevertheless.. it should work out this time. Thanks!

CEC require 1 year of full time work experience or 2? and beside the 1 year work is there any specific number of hours also set during this year or we can work for certain number of hours no matters it take us more then 12 months and could be 13 or 14 months or certain number of working hours should finish in the year??
