Hello,

I'm in the process of renewing my PR card, and eventually looking to apply for citizenship. Is there a website out there, where you give your passport number, and it will tell you the number of days you have been out of Canada, and calculate the number of days you have been in Canada.

There must be an easier way for this. Instead of using the calculator on the gov of Canada website.

Thanks AWonn

No - there's no such website.

You have to track these days on your own.

That makes it really difficult. Not to mention, all those little day trips to Niagara Falls/Buffalo, its really annoying
I was told from a friends there is a website.

Does anyone else know????

ok but my understanding us that day trips do not count as days out of Canada unless whole days 0001 hrs to 2400. Partial days where you leave Canada in the morning return in the evening or leave in the morning and return the following day still count as days in Canada even if partial days. At least thats my interpretation and sure someone will correct me.

CIC has a calculator that does this for you. Here's the link:https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/rescalc/resCalcStartNew.do?&lang=en&_ga=1.47747047.1781354342.1458766914

This makes it easy for you to figure out how many days you've been in Canada. ;)

Re-read the OP's post. OP is looking for something other than the calculator.
