Number of candidates in the pool

I was wondering if any one, could let me know approximately the total number of candidates in the pool.

You have absolutely NO basis for this.
I've heard from immigration consultants that there's over 50,000 in it.
Going by people's number when they creat the profile, there are far above 5k in the pool.
If Canada didn't receive hundreds of thousands of applications a year, they wouldn't have set such high targets.

Your immigration consultants may predicting with no basis. CIC knows only the exact figure.
previous years also quota was set by CIC is higher. But the num of applicants are less. (quota is not filled)

Again I am repeating. there are only max 5k remaining in the EE pool.
And this year almost all eligible candidates in the EE pool will get ITA
