Number of attempts in IELTS for Immigration

Is there any limit in appearing IELTS exam for Immigration?
If you appear 2nd time, will the marks be considered for PR application?
Is there any demerits if you appear second time?

no there is no demerits in appearing for an exam for 2nd time moreover now u have experience of how to appear for an interview so u would feel less hesitation while giving an interview best of luck buddy

Unfortunately I was demerit because result of first IELTS which hold in Tehran on 19 May 2011 was awful and made me disappointed so I am trying to contribute in next time on 8 Oct.

No restrictions you can appear for IELTS any number of times till you get a good score.....

Hi,

I have written IELTS from British council Two weeks before that is 30/04/2016. My result was not up-to the mark.
Can I immediately take IDP in coming next month which is on 19th of June 2016.

How many months I have to wait for another attempt?

Kindly help me out.
