Hi All,

Could you kindly let me know where can I check how many slots are open for NOC code 2171 under Canadian Experience Class ?
I want to apply for PR under this code (NOC A class) and was wondering if any slots are left or not.

Regards.

Hello,

I am looking to apply under NOC 2171.

Based on my IELTS dates and other paperwork, I'm aiming to get my application out by middle-July.

Any idea if that will be on-time, too late?

Thank you.

Thanks for the reply!

Now here's a more interesting question. I have a DWI in the US from 8 years ago. I realize I must apply for rehabilitation. It will take months for that to get approve (if at all).

Is it possible to submit the FSW application along with FBI report, and let them know that I have also applied for rehab (send them proof, photocopies of rehab application etc.)? Or do I HAVE to wait till rehab is granted?

Thanks again!

Good question. I believe you have to meet all the program requirements, including admissibility, at the time you apply. But this might be worth a consultation with a lawyer.

Thanks for the response.

A couple people on this forum have done both in parallel, but you're right I should get this confirmed with a lawyer.

Thanks again!
