A few questions... Did you apply for the NSNP RLMD Stream ? Please enter your details in this forum http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/nova-scotia-pnprlmd2014-applicants-submitted-their-files-for-pr-in-cio-sydney-t238061.120.html

Also , no need to be worried, it takes a few months (4 to 5) after your meds have been received to get to next step

Thanks... based on the diagram listing the application workflow i should be in the decision made stage.. but the Ecas doesnt reflect that yet.. it still shows application recieved... is that normal? Shouldnt reflect.. in process at least?

I applied to a program that was replaced by the RLMD ..i applied to the NSNP in late Nov 2013, had an interview with NS Imm. Consultant mid january and recieved nomination letter end of Jan..

I am in Canada sihce Sep 2013 as a visitor.. where i decided to go ahead with immigration app the NSNP, i really hope it wont take any longer coz i am tired of extending my visa every 3 months!

I have already added my details in the spreadsheet .. do i need to add my info to the spreadsheet in your signature as well?

If I were you I wouldn't worry too much...I'd just be grateful that I was nominated.

Your application might take a bit longer to process than was typically the case because it seems CIC is scrutinizing the PNP a bit more closely... too many immigrants cheating the system and too many provincial officers unwittingly helping them.

As long as your an honest person who submitted an accurate immigration package; I'd say your all set...but you may need to wait a few more months.

Why don't you apply for a BOWP? They're usually valid for a year. More than long enough to see you through to PR.

Oops, just realized that you may not be eligible for a BOWP as you're in Canada on a Visitor's visa (not a WP). I'd try anyways...you never know.

Given that you're a visitor; you must have applied to the community identified stream. It was fun while it lasted...it should have been named the self-identified stream. To my knowledge, communities stopped identifying immigrants a long time ago when they realized how poorly designed the system was.

I think this is why the CIS was cancelled.

Did you get the reply? How long was the processing time?

My wife's application (Skilled Worker Stream with a Full Time Job Offer) was submitted on 12th Sept 2014 and we haven't even received the File #. When I called them they said that it is still in Pre-screening stage and NSNP could take upto 3 months.
