Now CEC looks stopped, how about all of us call CIC now to make them reflect the problem directly to VOs .

anyone call CIC , please question why it is slow down . How are they guarantee previous CEC application average process time ?

I believe they are overhwelmed right now. Probably a shortage of staff.

Calling them and overwhelming them even more wont be right
 
But I do wish , that they clear all old cases before they move on to new ones. Especially express entry.
 
I can understand her/his frustration - this is not right

I just remember they published "one error " last year about total applications is full , then lots of pp call CIC, at last they correct it , ( although , unlucky , it is true at last )


so I think the call maybe one way to get VOs attention . we shouldn't be ignored in this way .

Your call doesn't go to VO, it's call center guy & he told me he can update status of mine application, what is happening in general due to privacy act he is not allowed to comment on tthat (seems generalized statement).

Great, so the rest of us who are on hold with a serious question have to wait longer so you can complain to someone who cannot help you, just because you are impatient.

Well said. I came here to say just the same thing. It's counterproductive at best and detrimental at worst to harangue the call centre with this type of complaint/demand. PR in Canada is not a right - it is a privilege. Processing times are guidelines not promises. We all are frustrated with the waiting, but there is absolutely nothing good that will come of mounting some massive call campaign other than, as Etzo has said, slowing down the response time for people with actual issues and legitimate inquiries.
 
once the abnormal waiting started, it maybe take years , if you check CIC reform history .

be patient can't help us too .

they have people to handle EE , they just left us deliberately .

if they are really lack of VOs, they should admit EE is a failure directly . not let's us suffer, then perfect the new system EE.
 
What gives you the impression they have stopped? June applications are just starting to get their PPR. Looks like they are tracking along nicely to have 80% complete by 12 months.

August ME stopped at April 21. two weeks no update. all the GCMS show nothing

it doesn't matter when , the worst thing is , the flow stopped, it is not slow . Aug ME almost stopped. if 1 ME one week appeared, I will much more relax , but zero is different . means all of the VO take some order directly to abandon left CEC work .
 
Sorry I assume by ME you mean medical requests?
What do you mean when you say August?

I'm trying to help, just trying to understand why you are so frustrated.
