Hi guys,
I would like to update you that I just landed as PR yesterday. I wish you all get your PPR soon!
Especially to Umanitoba, katherine888999, Lucky Girl, amanxdeep, samzzk, SEARPH_WatingforPPR, you guys are my sisters and brothers, helped me go through the darkest time in my life. I had no where to go but to talk to you guys, your response, your kindness, your encourages supported me to go through all of this.
Trust me, when the PPR comes, you will see that actually nothing need to be worried, because it will eventually come. Be prepared and try to do and move on your life when it hasn't come yet. You see, now I have it, I realized that I still need to do exercise to lose weight, I still need to improve my English in order to get a better job, othing to do with the PR.
We are who we are, we are not defined by PR, we shall not be limited by PR, so try not be worried about it. You all will get it, I wish it come very soon to you, my friends. I will pray for you all.

I just realized my status has a change here. Not sure if it is a system glitch. I was asked Resume, Supervisor info in Jan 2017, uploaded in Feb 2017.
Before:
Review of additional documents We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details. Help - Review of additional documents
After:
Review of additional documents We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.

Ijust saw my cic login page and there is an addition similar to yours.. a new portal for review of additional documents can be seen but next to it the space is empty..didu had this with ur page also?? Confused as to what it means ,do u have any idea?

Hi,
I am following this forum for about a year. I am August 2015 applicant.
I got PPR on 23 Feb 2018. and today got my passport back from CIC. I have a question regarding landing.
Can I do flagpole while I am out of status? My work permit expired on Oct 2017. I applied for the extension but it got refused on December 1, 2017. I applied on 15 Feb 2018 for restoration.

You must bring your work permit with you, and your bank letter is also needed. It is better to have your hydro bill with your address info with you too.

Alex, before your DM, do you see your background check status change?

e.g.: from "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." to "Not applicable."?
Or do you see "Update" in your cic account?

It will say : background check completed
Eligibility reviewed
Most important is : your application is approved beside final decision

7months ago it was we donot need additional documents ryt next to review of additional documents..now its empty theres nothing written over there..maybe they are updating what they want..but to let u know over medicals for both me n wife are valid till july 2018 and rest of stuff is also paassed except my ss accroding to mp..what do u think it means? Has that happened before to anybody else?
