Just received a letter from CIC APRIL 10 2017, asking for another RCMP fingerprints(submitted the first one back in Nov 2015).

This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa.
As you have resided in Canada for six months or longer, please provide a new certified Criminal Record
Check from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
Please follow the RCMP’s instructions to obtain a certified Criminal Record check.
You must send the fingerprints and a copy of this notice directly to the RCMP National Headquarters in
Ottawa.
Do not submit fingerprints to our office that have not been processed by the RCMP as this will
cause a delay in the processing of your application.
Please upload a scanned version of the RCMP Criminal Record Check to your MyCIC account within 30
days from the date of this notice.

Called coc yesterday they said that your file is currently in the process of background check. Im applicant wd spouse applied in dec 2015 and added spouse wd meedical in oct 2016. I have even applied for trv as i have no updates abt my file n i thot ill go visit my spouse bak home but even fr me trv there is delay n they said background check is taking place.trv applied since 20 days now!!

What is happening guys i dont knw wat to do at this point.

Need some advise as to what shld be done

received fingerprints result on April 18 and submitted on April 18. Confirmed they received my new fingerprints.
no more news about PR

work permit will expire the end of May 2017
applied for BOWP March 10 2017
received just 1 year work permit this monday. I'm good until next year I guess.

no more updates.

I got PPR on 20 April 2017 and sent passport copy & picutre on 21 April 2017.
CIC recived my ppr on 25 April.

Today, My backgound changed "your background check was completed" and final decision also changed "your application was approved" I hope to get COPR within next week!!

I ordered GCMS notes on March 22 and I got 2days ago, I guess, you will get GCMS notes within next week.

Dont know the exact time. But few nov and dec applicants are still waiting who are in same situation
