Are you going to call CIC on the 23rd? That's your 16 month's benchmark

guys I contacted my mp last Thursday .I received an email from them yesterday stating .With regards to your pr application . I can assure you that you are in final review stage .You can get ur decision any day . We contact cic office and informed them that your bridge is expiring by next thing and office is aware of that and are really trying hard to accommodate the request as your background eligibility security and medical is passed .However if you do not receive anything from cic .Please follow up with us in 2 weeks

Please anybody share about first time order entry in Canada experience? my spouse will be traveling first time to Toronto on PR status, what she will has to bring as an documents? what questions they ask usually in immigration and how long they take?

thanks alex .ALex I would suggest u to look for MP for the area that ur live in .Go to his office and tell them its been more than 16 months and they will enquire cic on behalf of u .If everything is in order .They might also request to process it sooner .

Passport, CoPR, existing proof of status (if any) for sure

Other supporting stuff like proof of fund (statements, bank draft, etc), connecting flight, rental agreement & job offer letter at destination, those would help. Probably don't need those anyway but keep them handy

When I did my flagpole in North Portal, it took about 10 mins in the Canadian custom office. Probably longer queues in YYZ
