December 21 2015 applicant, November 2 2016 medical request, still background check not needed. Any December applicant with background check in process?

Did you visited too many countries or have dependents? My background is in progress since 5th Jan, but I believe it is because I visited 3 countries and lived in 2 countries and also have dependent who also lived in 2 countries.

I did travel a lot but lived only in my country of birth. I also have a military background.

Congrats!! Your application seems to be moving very fast. Am December 21 applicant and had medical request on November 2. Since then, no any update. Background not needed still.
