Hi, do you maybe know if ecas is showing when medical is passed? We done medical in November and in ecas is showing it's received but there is nothing about passing, thank you

I called CIC for same reason yesterday. They said when website shows recieved means medical is pass otherwise they will ask for it again or some test.

You can check “my cic”， and medical status will be passed.
While ecas just shows received.

I would check my cic but I have representative so ecas is all what I can reach for.

My timelines are as followed.
Application Submitted : 17-Nov-2015
Acknowledgment email : 16-Feb-2016
Medical Submitted : 25-July-2016 (I did pre-medical on 25th July. Its already updated on my ECAS.)
Background Check : Not Needed at this time.

I am worried, my background check is still not in progress. Is this normal ? Is there any other November applicants whose Background Check status is "not Needed at this time" ?

Medical Received in ECAS is equal to Medical passed in MyCIC

I checked my cic account today and my background changed into "progress", however I didn't receive any email that my status has an update.

Applied: December 4, 2015
AOR: March 4, 2016
Medical received: November 2, 2016
Background in progress: January 20, 2017

I am a paper December 12 2015 applicant and I still have not received a medical exams request nor any kind of contact. Is there any of you under the same situation? Please let me know. Order GCMS notes. I am pretty sure that they are still working on your eligibility. Bcoz medical comes after the eligibility is passed. GO to local MP office, they can do a inquiry or order GCMS notes which takes 30 days to process.
I recommend both.

MP and IRCC call center won't entertain application less than 16 months. but order GCMS helps understanding the situation
