Hi all,

I have a query, please suggest with your precious opinion.

I applied my PR application to Australia for immigration in 2009 and got refused in Feb 2011. The reason of refusal was the hierarchy of the company i worked with in those days and the verification officer said that he is not satisfied with company hierarchy and refused my application. I was banned for 3 years. I applied through a consultant and i do not have my refusal letter. Unfortunately, my consultant has moved to Australia and shifted his office.

Note: I applied my Australian PR on my last passport which got expired and used my new passport for Manitoba nomination.

Now, i am MPNP nominee and my PR application is under process at local visa office. My questions are:-

1) I have not mentioned my Australian PR refusal in my Schedule A Background form. Should i tell the Visa officer about my Australian PR refusal?
2) If i tell about my Australian PR refusal to the Visa Officer, will this PR refusal from Australia cast a negative impression on the Visa Officer and
his decision making about my Canadian PR application...!?

Please suggest ang give your honest opinion...!
Thanks!
Regards.

Now its around 2 months, still I haven't got medical request (I'm the principal applicant). Any november applicant is still waiting for medical ?
My online status for medical shows- review in progress.
Do I need to contact CIC ?

1. Technically, you should revise your schedule A and attach a cover letter to excuse about mistake. However, it's up to you.
2. It won't be negative, but the officers would want to know why you were refused. You may have to attach some record/proof to support that your refusal was not at your fault.

I personally don't understand that under what circumstances PR can be refused due to the company's hierarchy system. You mean the company structure? You may want to make sure it is not your fault to be banned from AU.

It's more like 50/50 betting. If you decide not to tell, you may have a risk of misrepresentation. Misrepresentation is considered as one of the serious matter in Canadian immigration and you will be banned from CAN as well.

Hello Seniors in the group!!

I have a situation to discuss and though that you would be able to give a proper revert, as most of you have already cleared all the stages.

I have been nominated by MPNP under SWO and while submitting the IMM0008 form, in question 2, i have erroneously selected "Skilled Worker" instead of "Provincial Nomination" and my packet has reached Nova scotia already.

Could you guys please suggest as to how can i get this corrected :

- Do i have to send a new Im0008 but i would i get hat linked with my application
- Or wait till i get a query

I'm worried that they might send my documents back and i don't want that to happen

Please help!!

I submitted wrong set of passport photos last year and noticed it Just two after posting my application pack to CIC. I quickly drafted a cover letter explaining myself out and also attached the new set of photos to letter. After few months I received my AOR from CIC ( Note, CIC did not acknowledge to have received it but I was able to track its delivery online since it was a secured post)

My two cents here...but I also suggest you get varied opinion from seniors

- Do i have to send a new Im0008 but i would i get hat linked with my application
- Or wait till i get a query

Thanks for your revert!! how they would be able to link the form with my original application

I do not have a clue how they will link the application pack but in my own case I stated in my cover letter the date my initial application arrived to them and mentioned the staff name that received the package

Hope my explanation helps

don't submit anything. wait for them to reply.

Hi meanjoe you and me of same date how long it might go for mr in ur expectation ...

Hello,

My wife had applied to CIC on Sep.18th, 2016 (papers based) after she was nominated by Saskatchewan Province. We were stunned when we saw on their website that the processing time length is up to 16 months for those who had applied through a Provincial Nominee Program. Though my wife has a job offer, and supposed to start her new job on Sep.1st, 2016 we are keen to know how long do we have to wait (the realistic time)...? Thanks a lot.

To be honest right know we cannot really tell how long it will takes to process the PR now. That 16 mos processing is the maximum times. Unlike before it was 12 mos and we can anticipate the updates for the applicants. But right now I am Dec applicants and got my Medical Reqs Nov 3, and then some of the DEC applicants here have not receiving their Medical Requests yet. I have a friend who applied Last october 2015 he got his PR exactly 12 mos but some October applicants havent got their PR yet at this moment. It really depends how fast they will able to check and got the informations they needed from you guys. So better make sure if they request some docs fom you pass it immidiately.
