Good morning guys..few minutes ago got my Aor..application received by cic on 14 dec.. Outland applicant.. Thank God.. and thanks folks for your help and support...

I just got AOR seconds ago literally!!!

Inland applicant, spouse included, CIC Sydney received my file on Nov 26th (3 months till today).

CIC agents are very punctual! :-* :-* :-*

Seems like the only thing I can do is applying the Visitor Visa to extend my stay............ ???

from cic website, it says that pnp nominee has employment restriction on their nomination letter will not be eligible for BOWP but i think you can apply closed one if your employer is willing to pay $230 compliance fee and get ur job verification number. once u get the number u are good to apply closed work permit. That is my understanding and i called cic they said visit their website to determine your eligibility.

Hi guys

I sent my application to CIC NS Sydney on Feb.14th 2016. And I searched from my courier tracking info that it said my document had been received on Feb.19th 2016 by Immigration Canada 47-49 DORCHESTER ST,Sydney NS.
But my question is so far on Feb.27th 2016 I have not got any email from CIC to confirm my document receipt .
I'm not sure if they will send a email to confirm they have got the document. Or I just need to wait for the so called "AOR"?
How long it will take? Do I have any method to query the status?
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks all.
(I'm really worried about that...)

They will not send any email for receiving your application at this stage.
The next thing will be AOR after checking your application for completeness and receiving your payment.
