yes ill always update you guys.
my aunt didn't pass my application due to some confusion regarding the photos.
but my papers is already in Canada, with my aunt, she'll be the one to submit it.
she'll submit it today.

Oh it should be fine then, only 1 or 2 days then your package will reached CIO. If i were you, ask your parents/siblings to submit their photos as well. As you are still single, they are still your immediate family. Just to be on the safe side. But its still up to you... hehehe! :-*

a year? waaahhh....Nakuuuu... I hope not! I already sent my baby to the Phils. Kami naman mag-asawa until MARCH 2016 na lang dito sa PAPUA, uwi na rin pinas after visa permit expires... Whew! I hope by JULY makaalis na tayo to Canada. They said its the best season of the year, not too cold daw kasi kapag july.

I hope so. Aor is 3 months of waiting, then I think MR is 2 to 4 months of waiting after you received AOR. but after that u just need to wait 1 to 2 months for PPR..

I called cic today regarding photo specification and told them i send wrong photo size and they said it all depends on person who will review your file that he want to send it back or need new photographs. I asked my friend who just got pr few months back.. He said that he submit 6 photo with his application and then at later stage cic requested to send 4 more photos. If that will be same scenario with us as well then i think they will not send our application back.

Wow, thank you so much for your efforts Param! And thanks for updating us... So I guess it all depends on the officer-in-charge. We cannot do much but pray and pray that everything will be fine.

He said its better to send photos after getting aor or when officer wants it . But he said their is no harm to send it now if you want it.. Param, I think I should send a new set of photos as well.... With the 50-70mm size now. Just asking, is it ok to just ask the studio to use the same photo file, but change the SIZE? Or I need to take another shot again? My daughter is in Philippines already, my spouse and I are here in Papua, but I have the soft copy of the picture. I can ask studio to change the size for me. What do you think?

sure.. i got similar issues too.. the old format for generic applicaton form. and old photo specs.
but i hope it wil be fine if we had signed the application package before the day they updated the form and photo..

The problem with me, I signed it NOV-23, and they updated the picture size I think OCT-14 (based on what's showing on the system) Huhuhuh! I didn't check anymore and send it to CIO NOV-26, they received it DEC-02.

About the Generic Form, i don't know when they changed it exaclty. But its just the same month,NOV.

Lizzy, i ask guys who owns a studio and he said you can print same photos as you submitted but make sure you put same date the photo was taken before . Do not put today date. And if the photo that you sent before is old more than 6 months then click a new old.. If not more than 6 months then its good to go. And write a letter of explanation and add date and time who recieved your file and all personal details. And i will suggest to print 6 photos 50*70. Head size 31 to 36 . And get stamp of photographer and date photo was taken on 5 photos and leave 6 blank. And also write date of birth and name of person who appear on photo.. Then we will be good.. And send it by courier so you can actually know that they recieve our photos.
