Background check is completed on 8th march and prohibitions still in progress. Do both these have separate timelines?
Paper certificate has a two business day waiting requirement. With E-certificate you can apply for passport as soon as you get it.

Our timelines are quite similar, with the main difference being that I had to wait a month for my test results. However, I didn’t need to provide fingerprints since I had already done that during my PR application. It’ll be interesting to see how things unfold!
First, it could depend on the officer handling your case. Second, not all cases are the same some are more complex than others. It all depends on factors like how much you’ve traveled, how quickly they can retrieve data, whether you have any prohibitions outside Canada, and so on. In the end, a bit of luck is involved in having someone review and process your case.

Hey Guys, can someone help me.. My AOR is in Dec, 2024..Since you have applied a month before positing here as well.. I called IRCC and RCMP. Regarding my fingerprints, IRCC says they haven't received them yet, but RCMP states they dispatched the results on February 25. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Any idea? How long it usually take to receive email after it get updated in tracker.
