I scanned with iPhone Notes app and used ilovepdf.com to compress it at "best quality". It opens fine on all my devices, Macs, PCs, iPad, and iPhone.

But they also are ignoring my separate emails when they replied before about the test result. Those emails have no attachment.

I also sent it via web form on March 27, which the contact centre can see. They told me to call Friday if I don't have an e-certificate. I don't know what they plan to do. Maybe send an internal message or something.

I'm supposedly Canadian, but I can't vote and I can't apply for a passport, and I have no PR card. This feels pretty fucked up, to be honest.
If you have a traditional printer with a scanner, try what I suggested. scan with a 150 dpi and TIF file type. Then print to PDF and use that to attach. Also do all this from a pc/laptop. Just humor me.

My email wasn't rejected and I already sent it via the web form, and I have to have sent it within 48 hours of the oath, so a new scan is going to harm me more than help me at this point.

I think at this point, I just have to wait, and contact IRCC on Friday if required. And, if that isn't satisfactory, I'll start thinking about MP contacts or whatever.

I should be Canadian right now, so it should just be a matter of something just completing ministerial functions of clicking a box saying "yep he signed it". There's no more eligibility checking or anything. The judge declared us Canadian.

I am not worried about that. just the fact that your attachment isn't going through. I find that really odd. So wanted you to try traditional scanner vs phone app. Sometimes that's the issue

In my prior messages about this, you'll see on the day after my oath, I printed the PDF to a new PDF to create a new also standards-compliant PDF and sent this. They ignored both.

I think my emails went through fine. They weren't rejected. I think they're just being ignored.

Both PDFs work fine for me, even on a PC, in Adobe Reader and FoxIt Reader. They work in the Gmail/Google Docs viewer. They work on iPhone and iPad. They are around 600KB each. They look fine. I don't think the PDFs are the problem.

You should definitely find out how you can provide feedback after you get your certificate. It is inexcusable to just ignore emails when that is the requested primary form of communication. it's unacceptable.

When I'm done, I'll probably just be done unless they contact me for a survey afterward, like they did for PR.

I feel like replying to you over and over it seems like I'm complaining a lot. I'm not really. I'm just documenting here what I'm experiencing so others searching in the future can come across my posts if they are in the same situation and then go to my profile to see timelines and resolutions (hopefully).

I did not take anything you've said as complaining. We are just having a conversation. I just gave you my thoughts is all. I would give feedback in that situation because it's the only way things might change. Anyway, I'll end this topic there. I hope you get your certificate soon.

I feel so relieved it's hard to describe. Me clicking that stupid button for the 800th time expecting the same error and instead Chrome downloaded a file. Just an incredible feeling, and a beautiful certificate. I now feel that I am truly Canadian.

Election coming. Contact your MP's office. Tell them you're concerned about not being able to vote and you believe you can't vote without the certificate. (Truth is you have plenty of time but may as well set the hornets loose inside IRCC)

ah, never mind.

Congratulations!
