I received my test invitation email, the test section in the tracker changed to “in progress” but everything else is also “in progress”, (minus the oath which is “not started”). It seems like a lot of people had something already completed before they received their test invit. Is this weird or am I overthinking this?

I think you’re overthinking it big time. They wouldn’t send the test invite to you if you don’t meet basic eligibility so I wouldn’t worry. Some others have their BG check done but are yearning for their test invite.

Hey! exactly sane boat, AOR 2nd Dec, GU 25th Jan, tracker updated to test in progress n test dateson 28th jan, another GU on 29th, no updates for tht so far. I was thinking it is updated on 29 th because i got the email with instructions about the test later on on the 29th evening (Gu was early morning). But i was told GU are only for updates shown on the tracker and not for emails!

nothing has changed yet im hoping mine is BG and hoping urs is ztest in progress snd its details! Do let me know once you get any info on ur file!

There was a GU update on January 30, and ECAS shows an update about my test invite. I am scheduled between February 6 and March 8. I haven’t received the email instructions yet, so I’m hoping they will send them early next week.

I’m surprised because it’s Saturday…

I’ve got a GU on 28th, the tracker updated to test in progress and test window on 30th.
My last updated was showing Jan 30 since then.
I haven’t received the email instructions yet.

Hello, two questions:

1. I received test invite and BG and others are in progress. Does this mean I will surely have to give finger prints?
2. If so, I am currently working remotely for a few weeks and then ill be on a much needed vacation. Will I be able to give my finger prints abroad at some embassy and VAC for the citizenship process?
