Hi,

Please advise.

Ontario nominated me for pharmacist NOC. I received PR and am planning to move there by August.

Now, my concern is that if I am not able to be a licensed pharmacist( 3 years of process), or I want to turn a different path in my career, will my PR be cancelled?

Do I have the freedom to change my occupation if I still reside in Ontario.

Please advise.

Look into the terms of your nomination. You are likely exempt, but I'd recommend doing a spot check there.

Hi Guys,

Please advise here; my BGV is in progress since Jan/Feb'24. A few weeks earlier, I received GCMS notes and as per the notes, my criminality is in progress & security- not started.

Now on last Friday, My BG in GCKEY changed from 'not applicable' to 'we are processing your background'. I called IRCC they simply said your BG is in progress, didn't shared any further insights about criminality passed or security started.

Anyone know what's happening?

If you asked and the agent ended up not sharing the notes, that was the agent who decided not to share this info. Call again, hopefully another agent will share what's in progress/done. If they are unable to share anything, maybe nothing is done(that's why they can't see it), and that they started your criminality but abandoned mid-way.

They won't be able to confirm comprehensive security screening. You can get that only through CBSA notes.

As per the latest CBSA notes I've got: Security not started..
The agent is just pausing my application I guess

one of my friends have encountered a strange issue. He knew his baby is O+ as written on baby's NICU release papers. He used this info in PR application and got COPR already. Suddenly they needed baby's blood test for a surgery and found the blood group is A+. They are worried of getting PR cancelled for this issue. What should they do now?

Does anyone know if PR application tracker is working? Ours seem to have updated last on 4th April 2024, even though I have called couple of times in between, previously it would update by showing we received your enquiry but now it is not even giving that.

same here, as per my research tracker is not working since 5 April. As many ppl won't able to register their ID's since 4 or 5 April. Correct me if i am wrong. Thanks.

Does anyone know if it’s normal for passport stamping to take a month? I received the request letter saying I should submit my passport to complete the PR application in GCkey (it was odd that it was labeled as “Request letter” instead of “Original passport request”, but the same content. Tracker shows CoRP number). So I sent my passport to VFS global Los Angeles and it has been “under process” at IRCC since March 27. I still haven’t received any more notifications. Called IRCC and submitted a webform, but nothing worked. The last agent made it sound like it’s VFS’s fault but VFS confirmed my passport was delivered to IRCC.
