Hi

I have applied for my sister & her son. We applied for her family (sister, her husband & son), back inn dec 2021, which got rejected with the stereotype rejection reason of fund, purpose of visit. Though, first time we missed lots of important documents.

Reapplied on Nov 15, 2022, from India. Waiting since then, no update.

Processing is 5 or so months so may not be updated for some time. Funds are one of the most important parts of the application. They (not you) have to show their own funds to support a visit. So if they ask for too long of visit and not enough funds then will be denied.

Hi everyone, I applied for the visitor visa for my parents and shown CAD 73000 funds but the visitor visa was rejected due to the following reason.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:

• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).

1) I have shown one month stay.
2) My parents are retired.
3) Both my and me are Canadian citizens.

What changes should I make and How long should I wait to reapply?

What are the chances for approval for people who reapply?

It seems they are rejecting on reason. I also applied for my parents in Feb 2022 and got rejection on funds and purpose reason.

Re-applied on 16 Nov.
Hi did you get the approval the second time?
