That is very strange because getting sponsor eligibility usually comes a ways further in the process after AOR. Is there an app or UCI number on the email from IRCC?

Then you can consider that you have AOR even though you didn't get the actual letter saying they have started processing your app.

That’s a ghost update ! GcKey notoriously does that . Nothing to worry about .

Not sure about AOR2 as I didn't get that. I got the visa processing office info when they informed me about sponsor approval.

thanks for the info. My sponsorship approval letter doesn’t list a processing office, it just says the following:

The Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing.
Visa Office Contact Information

but then nothing is listed! Has anyone else had this? Thanks!

Hi ! We did, and from what I've gathered on this forum, others in the same situation had their application sent to Beijing VO. I believe you can call IRCC to figure out where your application was sent out.

Is this AOR 2 ?
What is meant by Responsible office? Does it mean Visa office?
My time line is
App received: 4 November 2020
AOR 1 : 13 April, 2021
ECAS : 15 April, 2021
Started processing BC: 15 April
No sponsor approval yet
No medical n biometric request yet.
