I am actually traveling Feb. 20th for a month. what are my options in case of becoming a Canadian and traveling right after without the passport?
when is your flight back?

you will receive your invitation letter in 4-6 weeks

you could ask to become citizen outside Canada when you receive your Oath invitation letter.

Hi Everyone, we took our virtual Oath of Citizenship today and are elated to finally become Canadian Citizens. Thank you for the support that I received on this forum and for making this journey a smooth sail :) I know it sounds like a created speech LOL :D but it's certainly heartfelt.
All the best to everyone , hang in there :)

For those who have ordered GCMS notes and have gotten past the dreaded April 23, did you see movement in your application prior to the deadline listed? The GCMS notes listed a deadline last week that came and went but the online tracker is still stuck on April 23 (no test invite yet). Does this mean the application is now considered non routine, or does IRCC just not care about the deadlines listed in the application?
