Hey, which email did you send regarding update for the oath? Which mississauga email? Can you pls share? I’m still waiting for my oath date and I am august 2020 applicant.

I got an Oath invite for my minor kids around end of July and I sent a note out to email Id which sent the invite asking why minor kids have been scheduled and not me /my wife, when ours was a family application. Got a call from one of their agents indicating that the oath for my kids was scheduled in error

Oh I see. Gotcha. This is such a painful wait! I’m an august 2020 applicant and still waiting. I’m seeing applicants from 2021 and 2022 already done with the whole process. It’s so frustrating

I know.....have experienced it myself.....absolutely no method to the madness and is purely case based...and is not transparent

If you are a US person (citizen/permanent resident), use a FBI Approved Channeler. This would be the fastest. If not, apply online and send them your finger prints.

If you are in the US, you can submit fingerprints at a USPS location listed on their page. Else, you can use an RCMP accredited fingerprinting service to print your fingerprints on an FD-258 card such as:
https://commissionaires.bc.ca/fingerprinting/

I guess they are making progress, I just signed into my tracker today and my Citizenship Ceremony Status had changed to IN PROGRESS as of October 12th.

I have not yet received an email with the oath date, does anyone know how long that would take ?

Any idea why your application took so much time to reach Oath stage?

I guess they are making progress, I just signed into my tracker today and my Citizenship Ceremony Status had changed to IN PROGRESS as of October 12th.

I have not yet received an email with the oath date, does anyone know how long that would take ?

No Idea. I had asked my MP Office to follow up in summer and they were told everything looks good and they will soon schedule me for oath ceremony.

honestly, its been this way for a lot of us. Its just a waiting game , lots of back log and nothing we can do.
