Try reaching out to your local MPs office. We did that and I am not sure if it did the trick but one week later we got the oath call up. It was 3 months for us from DM in March.

i just called my MP Office and they asked me to send them an email and they would be able to look into it, at this rate I think we should give it a try and see what happens. So I sent them an email and they said they would send me a form asking for permission to be able to ask immigration on my behalf, so I am waiting on that form and I hope that moves the process along. DM - March 2nd and still waiting for Oath...smh

i was never asked for fingerprinting throughout my application. I think this is because i am a new PR from Sep 2017 - less than 5 years

I always thought that fingerprint requests meant there was a hit on the criminal background, so someone with the same name in the database. They ask Fingerprints to make sure it’s not you. Or it could be someone with the same name and or dob who was previously rejected?

Probably but I wonder if someone get a request for finger print.. is it kinda random? Bcs I didn't get any, my friend did...

Most likely, just give a time 4-5weeks or less or more (every person has different experience)for getting email for the oath

Citizenship Ceremony should be In Process once you get the Oath date.

Not true. My journey began before around 2011. Never asked for FP during any kinda processes.

In the same boat! Got an update that oath will be on July 13. Just got off the phone with cic agent. He told me to call them back if I dont get an email with instructions for oath by July 6-7.

a question if anyone who has received their certificate is watching this thread. How long does it take to get the citizenshipcertificate? Is there a way to get it urgently. A friend of mine got it in 2 days and was asked to pick up from the local ircc office directly! Does anyone have any experience with this.
If not urgent how long does it take the certificate to come home by mail??

Finally received our Canadian passports today !
Applied in-person in Richmond Passport office Canada: June 17th 2022
This is the end of my long journey with IRCC!!
It was not smooth but happy to cross the finish line!

Yes thats right . I was traveling on urgent basis due to my father sickness. I provided them all prescription, diagnostic reports and lab reports to consider my urgent request for citizenship certificates.

Gave test outside of Canada ,it's completed since March 02 ,2022, nothing yet all still in progress except test and bg,who else is waiting here
