Wow if January 2021 applicant then its impressive!

Yeah it looks like they're speeding up... A friend of mine and I applied together... he sent in his application 4 days after mine.. and he got his invite too today... Hopefully the wait is ending for most of us..

I received an automated email this Tuesday, so maybe tomorrow or on Monday there will be an update for me?
If yes, then this automated email is being triggered after you were assigned to the test.

I hope the prediction is right. Hasn't worked for me so far. I received the automated email last Friday and no test invite as yet

What do people mean by receiving an automated email ? Do you mean the new status tracker email? If so, I received mine last week. My boss who applied in September received hers a few days before mine but that was after she took her test. So I'm not 100% sure about the theory of people receiving an update shortly before they get the test invite. But I hope it is true. My BG check was marked completed April 15 so hopefully I will get my test invite soon. Will keep you all updated ♡

Seems like CIC is blazing through September applicants. More than a third have already received an invite. It's moving faster than any other month, I wonder why. I wonder if that's a good sign for November?

I already see some changes in the discover canada book online. Earlier version - in the oath - did not have reference to the below

Seems like CIC is blazing through September applicants. More than a third have already received an invite. It's moving faster than any other month, I wonder why. I wonder if that's a good sign for November?

I was thinking the same then I realized, in my opinion, September 2020 ppl are way active then other threads. IRCC may be skipping 3-4 months ahead applicants but 6-8 months! that would be crazy. Again these are my assumptions. I've seen some March 2021 applicants already received their test invites!

I think applicants from other months are not actively updating their status (at least not as good as September 2020 applicants). I've removed several September 2020 applicants from the sheet because they were stale entries and weren't updated in a long time. I also check with applicants from time to time to get updates if the records haven't been updated. That is the reason why the September sheet appears to be complete and appears to have more test invites IMO.

I think at least one person from each month's thread should take up that responsibility of keeping the sheet complete and follow up with people with stale entries. Otherwise, the data is skewed and won't reflect the correct stats.

It is pain-staking work but at the end of the day, it shows the correct stats and the data isn't skewed so it is worth it.
