congrats.!!! Finally, you have reached the end of the line. I have been scheduled for oath on January 18th but I haven't received the Oath instruction email. I was wondering if you could share what was the lead time between you received the oath instruction by email and the oath date? Thank you in advance

Background Verification Completed: April 12, 2021
Citizenship test completed: July 28, 2021
Prohibitions/Language Skills/Physical Presence completed: Jan 5, 2022
Citizenship Ceremony: Not Started

I guess for most of us November applicants who are in DM stage,we might expect the oath in March/April. Almost there!

My ecas also shows decision made but the CIC citizenship tracker shows overall application as in progress and oath invitation is yet to start.

Also I keep reading about passport request. What is it about? Why does Canadian immigration require our non Canadian passport to process citizenship? Could someone please help explain this step?

Nov 2020 applicant here. Still no progress since April 2020 when background check was complete. Any Vancouver Office applicants still waiting for Test Invite?

I received the email in late december. You will get it soon. Probably just delayed due to the holidays.

Good News! At least I am progressing. I was shocked the language, physical presence and Prohibitions updates were done on Saturday 8th January 2022!
Now the waiting begins for Citizenship Oath.

AOR received, Nov 17 2020, Test done Dec 3rd 2021.

did anyone receive test invitation after contacting member of parliament?

I contacted my local MP 3 months ago. The only answer I got "IRCC is still working on it, COVID-19, refugees form Afghanistan.. Please be patient"
If your processing time didn't exceed 1.5 years, they don't escalate or help much
