Just clicked the "?" icon next to the processing news and found this
"In the past 3 months, the majority (80%) of the applications we finalized were received during this period"

Canadian Experience Class applications
We’re working at full capacity to process applications.

You may experience delays because we have a backlog of applications due to COVID-19.

We’re currently finalizing most applications we received between
May 10 and 16, 2020 ?
If your application is complex, it may take us longer to process it.
All other Express Entry applications

  • We have limited capacity to process applications and you may experience a delay.
  • If your application was approved on or before March 18, 2020, and your COPR has expired, you must follow these instructions.

BG status sometimes changes when there's a ghost update. Mine changed to Application updated and then changed back to submitted
Same here. One day I opened my account and saw "application updated", but after that, it went back to "submitted", so I no longer expect any GU.
Just wait for the final decision.

Can we order second GCMS notes before getting the first one?

  • If you make concurrent requests from the same government agency then its highly likely that the additional requests may be considered as duplicates. In which case the government agency will provide only 1 file in response to all the requests and that 1 file will correspond to the most recent request.

  • Another option that many applicants don’t consider is to request the same information from a different government agency. IRCC and CBSA both use the same GCMS computer system to provide information. So, if you made a request for your GCMS Notes from IRCC and it has been delayed then you can consider requesting the same information from CBSA. See this detailed comparison about requesting GCMS and Entire File from IRCC vs CBSA

Have anyone gone through the forums of people who received their AOR's 3-4 months before us. I just did and realized still most haven't gotten their Passport request yet. I think the 6-8 month processing timeline is bound to become an 8-10 month period. I'm just trying to tone down my expectations :D

Actually, I knew a couple who AOR September 27, 2020 and got PPR Feb 08, 2021. Outland and hkvo, I think that's super fast under the COVID circumstance.

I'd be happy with a 10 month time even. I called today after a month and the status is still the same as it was the last time I called. Eligibility passed (or recommended passed) and the others not started. Eligibility was done at CIO and then the application was passed on to CPC-O in Jan and the file hasnt been touched since. Sigh.

Just Called IRCC and Landed Myself Into A whirlpool Of Overthinking
After Waiting In Line For 50 Mins, Got Through To An Agent And Found Out That My File Hasn't Been Touched Since Mid Jan
The Status Is Exactly The Same As Before
Medical Passed
Eligibility Passed
Info Sharing In Progress
Everything Else Not Started
CPC-O Is Literally A Black Hole For Applications
