If your spouses have a valid Visitor visa or an eTa they should be fine to travel, as long as they can prove the relationship (as I am pretty sure you can) and that they will remain for at least 15 days in Canada. Also, have a quarantine plan to explain to the CBSA officer. Good luck!

I passed medical exam for PR in December (applied for PR in October 2019 - family sponsorship outland) in my country
Having a visitor visa
Arrived in Canada in May using my visitor visa
Thinking to extend my stay in Canada as a visitor until I get PR
My question is - if it takes longer than 12 months to proceed my application for PR and I receive a new request for medical exam after the previous one is expired, can I pass this medical exam in Canada?

Yes you can do your medical within Canada for outland application. Just have to find a IRCC accredited medical physician

Good Luck

Oh Thank you so much for your reply
One more question - if I am pregnant by the moment they send a request - will it be possible to pass the medical exam being pregnant? As I know they make x-ray of lungs - which cannot be done for pregnant women

Singapore visa office is also closed until further notice :( there isn't even an estimate.
Not my VO but don't think that's correct. It's one of the only offices that seem to he working. There is progress in applications on the tracker sheet, both Dec and Nov.

We received medical request today. I had sent pcc translation earlier this year, they sent an email today, asking if I can send the original and translation in the same email so that it's easier for them to review. This wasn't an additional document request. How much time did it take for you guys after they start working on the application?

My file moved to Mexico VO on December 12 2019.

My wife is pregnant too and is going to use a shield while getting the chest x ray. You can delay the x ray if you want. The immigration medical examiner will give you a form to fill.

As I understand you have to wait until you submit full medical result. Because I have plan to have baby too, but I'm waiting for MR before getting pregnant. If I have baby now, I have to wait my baby born then do MR and register Canada for baby. I think it takes at least 1 to 1.5 year longer.

I had my medical test done in December 2019. And these results are valid for 1 year only. As I see how slowly the office in Warsaw works, I'm afraid it will take them longer than 1 year to complete my application for PR. And consequently in December 2020 they may send a new request for medical test. Thus it looks like we cannot grow as a family until they finish the process?

I called and they couldn’t give me any answers.Theres no point and if you call a lot they will put a note
On your file.If your files been transferred like mine..once
It leaves Canada ...they don’t know anything about the file and only has visa office does.

There's really no sense worrying in advance about whether they will ask for a new medical or not. Your decision, of course.
