I received a response from IRCC to a webform I sent back in Nov. It didn't use the "priority requests only" BS (although they used the covid-19 excuse BS for justifying the delays), but all they said "we verified your information, and we confirm that your application still in process". Like seriously? I know it's in process. I need to know if I am in queue for the oath or there is something wrong with my file. Useless communication in all cases.

According to status tracker, I'm now scheduled for Oath Ceremony on January 26!
I think the officers all day just spend time reading webforms and replying to those forms and basically not work on the files at all, I also noticed hell lot of late 2020/early 2021 applicants receiving their passports and oath ceremonies, I wonder if we should approach a news agency and ask them to run an article on this stupidityi got the same response day or two ago. As a additional measure, please go to this form and fill some complaints section about delays in processing for 2019 applicants. this might not help but its another tool to convey the general message if most of the forgotten applicants do fill this it might help eventually.

I sent them at least 3 complaint forms. IRCC is like a little child. If you complained, they would punish you. They want you to shut up and wait or else ... CVT Montreal published an article recently about the delay, and when the reporter contacted IRCC regarding the applications of some applicants who contacted CVT Montreal, IRCC cowardly and out of fear of bad publicity only progressed their files. Shame on IRCC and everyone works in this shameful tyrannical institution.
i know what you mean. maybe understandable if an odd case gets prolonged but when 2019 and whole 2020 is Oath ready, and late 2020s and 2021 getting oaths, deplorable. they have no shame
I saw that being shared here and good on those who got it done . Many more would contact if theres no fear of pissing IRCC officers off or if they could stay anonymous. happy that it worked for them tbh

Vancouver office seems to be processing my application.
On the status checker it shows as prohibitions in progress, physical presence in progress, language skills in progress and background verification completed.

If your background is changed to completed that means your fingerprint check was received and done. Now you are exactly in my similar position, i am also a Dec 2019 applicant
I also was little bit skeptical about filling the complaint form because they do ask for application ID but i guess now i am willing to take risk since anyways i have been waiting forever. Better do something rather than just sitting around

Have you contacted your MP? Heard that some folks reached out to CTV news of their province and things then moved swiftly. As a last resort, talk to immigration lawyer but this route is a bit expensive.
