I applied 3 months before you, but we are in the same boat. I am stuck in the next step after the test since last April with no updates whatsoever

this is crazy, no other government service is so flippant with their timelines and act less responsive than CIC. how on the earth they can keep charging hundreds of $$ for such a shitty service??

I am sure this will bite Trudeau in the ass there are hundreds of thousands of disgruntled would be citizens and their families left in limbo. this could be the first major election when the liberals might actually lose on immigrant votes. Serves them well!

For those who already received their citizenship certificate, when did your citizenship oath status change to complete in the new tracker and when did you receive the certificate in the mail?

As best as we can determine, the final status changes to complete when the citizenship certificate is printed and mailed out. The amount of time it takes to do this is different for each office and each person.

The time between that, and receiving the certificate, varies depending on how far you live from the location of the office.

For me, it took a week for my status to change to complete, and another week to receive the certificate in the mail.
