How do you send out a web message? Would appreciate if someone could help with that..feels like I have been waiting forever for the oath ceremony..

I wouldn't mind going to a ceremony in real person, but either way I can't wait!

Finalizing applications 12-18 May 2019 took about 2 months. Finalizing applications 19-25 May 2019 took a week or so. Now they are finalizing applications 26 May- June 1 2019. It's difficult to make any conclusion regarding change of speed, or the number of applications between 12-18 May 2019 were ~8x higher the number of applications between 19-25 May 2019.

I have zero hope on this immigration department. I guess by July 2022 also it will like that only. They just dumped few people wthout any reason.

What is the use of this date? Most of the people who already applied much after this date in 2019 and even in 2020 either completed the process or about to complete very soon. So this date is meaning less to me.

Congrats! May I ask you when your Background check was completed?

Question to those who have done the oath ceremony.. Can it be broadcast so family overseas can watch?
No, only the invitees and the people with you while taking oath in the room.

This is a quote from the citizenship oath invite I received:

"By participating in this video oath ceremony, you confirm that you, and any family members associated to your application, will be taking the Oath of citizenship in Canada. If you are not currently in Canada, contact us as soon as possible in order that we reschedule your ceremony."
Thank you to share that information, hopefully I won't need to reschedule the ceremony, I guess reschedule take few months.
