I am not eligible to apply via online because I am applying along with my family. Please refer the below link.

If you see the trend (both 2019/2020), almost 90-95% of applicants who are getting test/oath invites are single applicants. Very few (around 5%) of family applications are getting test invites.

For some reason, they are not processing family applications just like all other applications. Single (or) Family(2) are majority of invites now a days.

Anything and everything is normal when it comes to cic. Dont question them . Dont worry, we have see it before by other members. Just scan and send it quick.

Yes you can reduce the size. I scanned the pages by individual images and then put it in word and then print it as pdf. Reduce the resolution of images and it will reduce the overall pdf file size.
Before trying in image, you can try scanning as pdf with low resolution and see if it reduces within 5mb. If its not readable/legible then try the image option.

They used to ask all other documents too along with passport within 5mb hence we can easily put just passports copy in 5 mb.

Your signature says you did the oath back in 2019. Is this for someone else?

Scan all of them, put it in a pdf and use something like smallpdf or ilovepdf or any other tools available and compress the file. It should be possible to shrink down the size (I was able to get all pages of 1 passport under 1.8 MB while maintaining the quality of the stamps/content).

May be, we can't do any thing here where the process is not based on first-cum-first serve basis, its a random.

Yes. You'll have to email the office that sends your test invitation and request permission first. Once they respond positively, you can take the test outside Canada. Check the email in the 'Rescheduling' section of your test invitation.

Yes you can fit it in as per the helpful comments above.
Also, if there are any stamps NOT in English or French, get them professionally translated!

FYI I just checked my status online and I'm finally scheduled for Oath. I haven't received any email yet but it says I'm scheduled for next Wednesday (Vancouver single applicant).
