Question regarding the test: should we stick with the information provided by the official study guide, even if it's outdated? For example, in the official guide it says that Canada has a population of about 34 million people, whereas the latest numbers say Canada has a population of about 38 millions. This could be confusing if both numbers are options

Very.highly unlikely that you will see both numbers even if this question does come up. I'd stick to reality, easier to appeal if it comes to it )

It happened after I have forgotten about it and stopped checking my email and ECAS 5 times a day
Guess that's the best thing to do. The surprise is a lot better than waiting with eyes glued to your email and ecas..I am going that route....congrats @Kate M

It really doesn't matter...and that question will never be asked...not to worry...

Even the current book and audio book have discrepancy where the book states there are 4 political parties while the audio book states only 3.

When do you guys think I will receive my test invite, when my GCMS notes from today say that nothing has started except Criminality?
I applied in November 2019! CIC is a disgrace to this country.
Hi Anford
My Timeline is very similar to yours and I live in Surrey, BC. Could you please share any phone number or email so I could contact them about the status of my application.
Thanks.

I’m from surrey and I’m in the same boat. Got the deltails and immigration verifications have not been initiated yet. So looks like it’s still sitting there in the pile waiting

IRCC is finalizing 80% of the cases from April 14-20, 2019 meaning the processing time has gone up to 2 years now for older paper-based applications. It also means that 80% of November 2019 cases will be finalized by November 2021 unless they increase efficiency or demand gets low. It can also increase if they stop working again on cases for whatever reason. I expect 80% of us to receive test invite in next 2/3 months.
