November - 2019 Citizenship Applications

Friend of mine told me that they're clearing the family applications first, because they can clear 3-4 in one time. Probably that's why all the single applicants applications are getting delayed. could be totally wrong

Honestly, my observation has been different in this forum from others posts, and also based on tracker data. Mostly single applications are getting invites a lot. I know few of my friends who applied in late 2020 got their test invites already (both single applicants.)

At this point, it totally seems random.

One of my friend passed test on February 22 got Oath Ceremony request yesterday and his oath ceremony is scheduled for June 22 2020.
His timeline is same as mine.

AOR - Feb 14 2020
Online Test - February 22 2021

My dates are within a day of these, so fingers crossed I also see something soon

I have been scheduled to take citizenship test online between April 16, 2021 and May 6, 2021. I believe I took the test on May 3rd and my citizenship test was updated to complete on May 5th.
They have also requested my fingerprints. It was updated on June 1st. Now I’m waiting for interview and oath.

I completed my test on 19th Feb 2021. Status was updated test completed on 20th Feb 2021. Never asked me for fingerprints or interview. On Apr 16, all my status were updated to completed (except ceremony one). Waiting since then. 2 months now.

How I wish the in-person ceremonies were resumed! I would not mind waiting a little longer for this.

That's good to know.. I applied in Nov2019 still waiting for the test

Worst thing is the randomness with the process. Some december 2019 applicants got their citizenship already. As per this forum, there is at least 1 Nov 2020 applicant who have already taken their test whereas people from May 2019 have just got test invite. When Citizenship is a federal thing, why couldn't they do it at federal level rather than letting regional office deciding whose file to pick and whose to delay.

Any hope of getting done with Nov-2019 applications at least by end of this year? I have a feeling that 2019 and 2021 applications will be processed together when they open the offices. what a bad luck.
