November - 2019 Citizenship Applications

FWIW, I got an email today from CIC that they have added a new citizenship tracker which we can register from here:
https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en?utm_campaign=CitTRK-initial&utm_medium=email&utm_source=Cit-invitation-210510&utm_content=check-application-progress

It gives way more information than the current ECAs method that we use to check the status. This may be helpful to a lot of people.

In that tracker, I also found out that my citizenship ceremony is scheduled for 28th May and that I will receive an email 1-2 weeks before the ceremony. So the updated timeline is this:

Location: Scarborough, Ontario
Physical Presence: 1106
App. Sent: Nov 18 2019
App. Delivered: Nov 21 2019
AOR: 2020/02/10
In Process: 2020/02/14
Online test request: 2021/01/29-2021/02/18
Citizenship test passed: 2021/01/30
Decision Made: 2021/04/26
Oath Ceremony: 2021/05/28

You need your UCI and Application number to be able to register.

My new status is the following:

Language skills: In progress
Physical presence: In progress
Citizenship test: Completed
Background verification: Completed
Prohibitions: In progress
Citizenship ceremony: Not started

This just again shows how slow CIC is... but maybe it'll help you. It's a disgrace that November 2019 applicant still has 4 sections in progress... :mad:

Thanks I just signed up. Although I took my test on Friday 7 of May and passed but mine still says in progress.. May be they didn’t update the file yet..

Nice new system. It displays more information and details. However, I couldn't find my personal information like name and address, and there is no option to edit the address as in the older system

HI Guys.. i have received email to register my account to ircc. When i opened the account i see my oath ceremony has been scheduled for may 22nd . Mississauga location. But i didn't see any other info regarding the ceremony . Should i wait for official email for oath or should i call them ?

Hi,
I applied (includes my daughter's application) for citizenship in Nov 2019 and got AOR on Feb 03rd 2020. After that no updates from CIC regarding test.

Many of the people who applied after me received test invitations in this group.

I changed my address from Toronto to Bulrington.

Do you think changing the home address causing delay in my applications process?

Anyone on the same scenario ??

Congratulations yup just wait for the email maybe this friday;) or next week at least u know u will have ur oath on the 22nd
I was thinking of this too b4 good they did this so people wont be waiting and waiting for nothing. With this one applicant is notified of having their oath soon

My application is similar to yours (applied with minor kids in Nov-2019) and got AOR on feb-03-2020. No update so far. This is what I observed across all months, this forum and FB group that all family (3) or more applicants are on hold. and also very few family of 2 received invites. Not sure what their logic behind inviting people for test, but one of my friend who applied in 2020-April, got test invite already a month back. Totally unfair, but only thing we can do is just hope one day we will also get it. Good luck.

Well, that's more info than ECAS. But still disappointing. Only "Background Verification" done, and it's over a year old.

Hi Guys, I just got an invitation letter for MS Teams program integrity interview on May 19th. I passed my Citizenship test since January 18 and I've been trying to follow up with webform, email, and ATIP requests. I'm glad to finally see some movement and hope everyone's file gets some traction too. All the best!
