Hello Everyone,

I have just received an email from CIC-Winnipeg that I have been approved for the permanent residency and they have sent out a confirmation of permanent residency in an email and have said that I can use this until I get the permanent resident card. They have skipped my interview and I can apply for the card directly.

Wish you guys luck on your way:)

Congrats... did you get any update in cic account.

Also, I am just wondering. are they request RCMP after 6 months timeline?

Thanks,
Yes, our case was slightly complicated hence we had request RCMP as soon as our medicals were passed. However, the GCMS notes highlights that all checks for the main applicant are passed, MEdical, eligibility, criminality and share of information. For dependent RCMP was requested.

Congrats... did you get any update in cic account.
Thank You!!
I do not have access to my account. I sent them a webform last Thursday I was waiting for the response back from them, meanwhile I got this email.

Thanks, I have not idea about that because I didn’t have access to my account I applied through my immigration agent. I wasn’t even aware of the ghost updates. I used to contact IRCC through web forms and calls. The last time I contacted them was April 30 and they said Eligibility and background is in review. Then I contacted them last Thursday and I haven’t received the response for that yet. And today I got this email from them.

Hello Guys i hope you all are safe

so I just randomly logged in to see my application status and i was dissapointed to see that it was exactly the same as on thay day i crossed my 6 months ie 12 may 2020.

where Eligibility was still being processed.
backgrounds were still in process.
Medicals passed
biometrics passed
additional documents are NA ( i submitted them in december ) till now no requests of any further documents )

It makes me anxious day by day , i wake up to find copr mail in my inbox but everyday is a dissapointment .

Awaiting copr as an EE candidate with ITA from Nova Scotia . I know Im sounding odd , but i cannot help myself .

please please give me any knowledgable inputs if any . @legalfalcon @nns14 and more if any

Thanks in Advance and regards

Should i raise webform now or in june/july ??

Most processing is currently at a standstill. If you are an outland applicant, then IRCC is not issuing any PPRs as most international offices are closed. Even if your application has been approved, you will ned receive a PPR until the offices in your country open.

To know the exact status of your application, you can request GCMS notes, or just wait it out.

You can also consider sending a CSE and asking the status of your application, though more often than not, the responses are vague.

How long has it currently been taking people to receive GCMS Notes back? I ordered first set of notes on May 1, 2020, and still have not yet received.

Received an application updated via webform (May 12) that:
Eligibility - responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied.
Security background - valid
criminal background - valid

So a little worried that potentially there is something in my documents holding up the eligibility check, but webform doesn't give this information and the call lines don't work for me, just state that no agents available to take calls.

Inland application, AOR 3rd Nov

Received my GCMS Notes back today, ordered May 1, 2020.

Did those of you who recently received PR letters, have the same information on your recent GCMS notes? Cheers!

I don’t think page 2 I.e. assessment section gives true update, in my case assessment shows medical in progress where as at the very end of the document it shows medical passed and for criminality it say R10 criminality pass/ok right at the very end of the notes where there are notes from the officer

Hey, have you received a call interview before receiving the email?
