Hi @legalfalcon ,
I wish to apply this month as well but I got a slight complication.
I recently got nomination from Ontario and got an ITA on 30th Oct. But unfortunately my IELTS expired on the 28th Oct. I have scheduled to retake IELTS in the coming weeks. However I have a growing concern that if I get a lower IELTS score than the last time it will affect my nomination as well. Will it be the case or could I go ahead and apply even with slightly less scores because I have 600 points from nomination?

Your IELTS score should be valid on the day you file your application. Given that your sore was valid when you received the Ontario nomination, and if your score falls lower now, it will impact your overall CRS, but not the 600 from the nomination.

Oh that's a relief! Thank you so much for the clarification. :) I will get my other documents ready while I wait for my new IELTS results and apply as soon as I get it. Kindly add me to the Whatsapp group as well please. Good luck to all applications. :)

Hello,

As per IRCC

The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:

  • a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
    • should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
    • should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits;

Thanks,

I will need one letter stating my different designations or different letters. I have worked in my current designation from 2014 to august 2018, previous one from 2011 to 2014, and 2008 to 2011 and currently, I am on a sabbatical till March 2020.

Please read the post carefully, it clearly indicates that the letter should list all "positions" you held.

I submitted my application and received AOR on November 2, 2019. How do I join the whatsapp group?

Hey @legalfalcon I have a query I was hoping you could help me with.
Do the job duties listed for a secondary NOC have to be consistent with what's listed in the NOC description? It's just a new job I've had for 2 months and am declaring it but not claiming any points for it. Will IRCC compare the job description for this with the NOC description too?
I understand the job description for the primary NOC needs to match. But I'm not sure about this new job I'm not claiming points for.
Thanks!!

If you are not claiming points for a job, you do not have to list it in the work history, you can remove it from there and only have it in the personal history.

If you have a job listed in work history, then you will have to provide a work reference letter and the job duties on the work reference have to substantially match the Job duties of the NOC selected.

Thing is, the new job is a department transfer with the same employer where I've worked in my primary NOC, and so any letter they issue right now will include my current job title with them as well.
I'll try and get the job description for the new title aligned with the NOC too then.
Just to make sure, if I have jobs under NOC A (primary NOC) and NOC B listed under work history and have provided reference letters for both, the lack of experience in NOC B won't be a cause of concern right, since NOC A is listed as the primary NOC?
Thanks a lot for your help!! :)
