Yes, it is! I forgot to write it down in my previous message. I've just edited it, thank you.

Here it is

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We are pleased to inform you that your permanent residence application has been approved.

A correspondence will be sent to advise you and your family members (if applicable) of this decision. You may be asked to send documents to finalize your application.

A Confirmation of Permanent Residence and a permanent resident visa, if you are from a country that requires a visa, will be sent to you and your family members (if applicable). Please follow the instructions that will be sent with your documents.

We invite you to visit our website for more information on how to prepare for your admission as a permanent resident of Canada.

Additionally, due to the ongoing situation related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), some IRCC offices are currently operating with reduced or critical staff only.

We are working on processing applications as quickly as possible; however, processing times are affected and any disruption caused by COVID-19 is not reflected accurately on our website. We will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:

  • Download application forms and guides
  • Change of address
  • Check your application status
  • Help Centre - To find answers, you may consult the different sections or type keywords related to your question.

That is amazing! Congratulations! So they aren't asking for passport, PR card photo, or return envelope anymore due to COVID, or was this requested separately?

That is actually my doubt. This email is an answer to a question I raised via webform. I haven't received anything else so I am not sure how to proceed now.

However, I’m yet to receive PPR request, and my account still reads that my application is in progress, I will be contacted when final decision has been reached. Meanwhile, I got RPRF request on April 1st, and paid the next day.
With this response above, I take it that my application has been approved? Can someone shed light on the implication of the response mail above? Thanks

I found this INTEGRATED SEARCH FOSS/GCMS: POTENTIAL ADVERSE INFORMATION. PA PREVIOUS TRV AND PR REFUSALS. I was denied re-entry into Canada in 2017 for contravening a study permit condition by working full-time hours, and was issued a 6-month ban for it. I was also refused my PR application in the same year (2017) for not having the CEC full-time work experience I claimed since I was still an international student at the time. Re-applied for another re-entry visa in 2018 and was denied again. However, I have made sure to disclose all refusals while I filed my current application and the six-month ban has long elapsed since June 2018. From my GCMS notes, my eligibility, criminality, info sharing and medicals are all passed but security still says not started. Could the previous refusals cause any problems in my current application? I would appreciate advice from any senior who is knowledgeable in this situation. Please help...I'm super worried! @legalfalcon
