@legalfalcon Should the s15(1) go away after the security is passed on the GCMS notes?
No, the security will always be redacted in your GCMS notes and the section under which it is redacted is s15 and it will be there. Only in CBSA notes, most notes will not have redactions.

You can see my previous post in this at #585

If your requested your GCMS notes under the Privacy Act, you will see some information redacted under section 21, which are exactly the same corresponding sections as s 16 of the Access to information act.

Whereas section 26 refers to personal information, which is the same corresponding section as section 19 of the Access to Information act.

International affairs and defence

21 The head of a government institution may refuse to disclose any personal information requested under subsection 12(1) the disclosure of which could reasonably be expected to be injurious to the conduct of international affairs, the defence of Canada or any state allied or associated with Canada, as defined in subsection 15(2) of the Access to Information Act, or the efforts of Canada toward detecting, preventing or suppressing subversive or hostile activities, as defined in subsection 15(2) of the Access to Information Act, including, without restricting the generality of the foregoing, any such information listed in paragraphs 15(1)(a) to (i) of the Access to Information Act.

Information about another individual

26 The head of a government institution may refuse to disclose any personal information requested under subsection 12(1) about an individual other than the individual who made the request, and shall refuse to disclose such information where the disclosure is prohibited under section 8.

All GCMS notes will have information for security redacted under section 21. If other individuals over the age of 16 did not give a consent to have their information related, then their information is redacted under section 26 of the Privacy Act.

Hope this helps!

Currently IRCC is not issuing any PPR emails. If your page 2 shows approved, then your application has been approved.

Congratulations.

There is no need to worry. As and when they start releasing the PPR, based on when the visa offices in your country of residence open up, you will get further instructions.
@legalfalcon my GCMS shows that my file is approved. I am residing in US where Visa offices are open. I haven't received any PPR email yet. What can I do to make IRCC send me PPR email. I have little time left on my US Visa

@legalfalcon Our PR Application under process and delayed due to Covid.
AOR - NOV 2019
PNP Outland

Kindly suggest if I require to inform IRCC in case my Employer Changed i.e. If I switch company.
In case required, then do I require to get Reference Letter from new Employer as well even if employment is newly joined?
And will it impact processing time of our application?

Please note: our application is not restricted to any employer.
Thanks for your help.

You can send a webform and request. Expressly state that your US visa expires and since the application has been approved, you are requesting that further formalities be done. You will have to send a detailed plan for settlement. You cannot do soft landing.

If you. changed your employer for which you claimed points, you should inform IRCC. You Do Not need a reference letter from your new employer. You only need to inform IRCC that you no longer work with the employer, so that IRCC is aware in case they decide to verify your employment.

Thanks @legalfalcon for your response but can you please elaborate more "Points claimed for Employer" because I did not get arranged employment points and submitted only Current Employer and Previous Employers Reference Letters.
