Hey,I contacted IRCC via the webform and got this response:
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
We verified the information on file and can confirm that:
While the processing times may vary with each case, we will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible.
- The background verifications are currently valid.
- The security background verification is currently valid.
- The criminal background verification is currently valid.
- Your application is currently being processed at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.
Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.
What does it mean? I don't know why they didn't comment on my eligibility (Here is what I asked: Could you please inform me about the current status of my eligibility, security, background check, and criminality and about the name of the responsible visa office?).
I applied as CEC Inland (Nov 17) but have moved to the U.S. in the meantime. My plan was only to stay in the U.S. for 6 months. Does that make my application Outland?
Thank you so much for your kind answer!!I had this response last time as well even though I asked specifically about eligibility status, but the last last time they said the officer has already reviewed my eligibility. I used the same paperwork as I did with the province and all got approved in a week. So stay positive, I think it's not bad news.
No, I was never refused. It was only my BOWP submission that was messed up. I had to stop working immediately that day, and went to the US to see my friend, only to hear the PM saying Canada will close the border after a few weeks. 3 hours later I was in the airport. Haha. Now I am a visitor too just chilling for MONTHS! I am so sorry to hear what happened to you. It feels weird/shitty to see the word "refused" in the CIC account!ohhhh I am sorry to hear. Did you apply for PR again? right? On my case, immigration did not let me fix my first application.
We got CoPR this morning as well.
No interview.
The file was originally in CPC Edmonton and then moved to CPC Ottawa.
Everything was approved/valid since April 14th 2020.
The file was flagged with "Review Required" on March 9th 2020, and then cleared on April 14th 2020.
Before the approval, nothing happened on the account.
At the same time got a GU, the application was marked as approved online (IRCC system) and received the e-mail with CoPR.
The CoPR letter was issued from Montréal, Qc.
Congratulations, my case is the same. Eligibility flagged for review required on March 9th and passed on April 10. I hoe to hear good news soon.We got CoPR this morning as well.
