Not UK citizen but yes living in UK and applied in November with application transferred to London visa office in July 2019.

Anyone knows at what point is criminality checked and security?????

Criminality is checked when you give biometrics. Security is usually after eligibility is passed, in most cases.

January 22nd 2019 received AOR1

March 26th 2019 Sponsor approved

March 27th 2019 Medical request and biometrics request

April 18th 2019 Biometrics done

April 23rd 2019 Medical completed

April 26th 2019 Medical received

July 16th 2019 email notification that application was transferred to london from Sydney.

August 16th 2019 AOR2 received from london by applicant.

September 6th prearrival letter sent to applicant.

So things are actually chugging along in london. Maybe there is in fact hope they do this inside 1 year??? Seems so far faster moving then Sydneys portion.

So another update this morning looked at Ecas expecting to see that the arrival letter was sent friday. To our suprise Ecas says under applicant "decision made". Does this mean background check is done then? Just COPR to go? What kind of timelines are we looking at if background check is done until COPD is sent. Any insight I finally feel like we are in the final stretch

I am 7 Nov 2018 applicant received email Today of Pre Arrival Letter. but online account doesn't updated with Completion of Eligibility Nor Background process completed. Does anyone know Pre Arrival Letter is sign of Eligibility passed . or everyone who have applied got this Pre Arrival letter.
