Its been the same for me. I’m expecting my file to be transferred to LVO as well as I am a UK resident but yes no news for me too since medicals passed in Feb. It is quite frustrating and concerning looking at people get their PPR who applied even after us. Wonder what’s taking CIC so long for our applications. We can do nothing but wait

So disappointed and that’s so frustrating

My application was transferred on Feb 1, and Aor2 Feb 4.
What does this email mean?
At the end of email it says:

I think it means they transferred your application to Rome and they will likely finish the remainder of the processing there. This should be the AOR2 email. The AOR2 is the same as AOR1, Acknowledgement of Receipt. So the email saying either Sydney or LVO has RECEIVED you application, not the transfer email. The only way this May be confusing is if it had been previously transferred to another visa office. Is that the case with your app? Is this the second local visa office it was transferred to?

When I got my transfer email it was Feb 27, I got an email from Sydney saying it was being transferred. I got the AOR2 from my visa office on March 19. And my line 2 on ECAS says they stared processing as of March 18. Maybe they were just delayed in sending the AOR2 email?

The first email was more than likely the confirmation that they’re sending it to that VO. I’m assuming the first email went to the sponsor?

The second email is AOR2 and goes to the principal applicant.

Final update, my husband has just landed and we’re safe and sound at home.

It was a pretty quick process, we landed at YYZ terminal 3. We went through immigration as normal and then had to go to a separate room for those who need to get their visas and such processed.

The officer seemed nice enough, just confirmed that he was staying at our apartment and did some stuff on his comp. Then both forms my hubby got for COPR had to be signed by him, one copy the officer kept and my hubby kept his copy. After that, we went to the service Canada which was in the same room and funnily enough this took the longest to wait for as there was a bit of a queue.

While my hubby waited for his turn (he had to take a number), I went to grab our luggage since it was taking a long time. I was sure our luggage would be ready by then which was the case! By the time I came back to the service Canada area, he was all done. We then went to customs expecting all kinds of questions but no they just let us through!

It was all done in about an hour or so with no problems besides the waiting!

Once again very good luck to all of you and thanks for being such a great support system! I’m sure we’ll be back once hubby is ready to get his citizenah
