November 2018 Outland Applicants (Spousal Sponsorship)

WIth the speed of the process initially my hopes went high that it might after all be completed in less time. And then so many November applicants started receiving ppr. But this dead silence of 2 months now has shattered all hopes

Hey guys, I’ve been receiving a bit of dead air from IRCC over the past few weeks, hoping someone has a similar timeline to me or any thoughts of what is coming next?

App received: 19th November 2018

AOR: 24th January 2019

Medical Request: 5th February 2019

SA: 7th February 2019

Transferred to Sydney, Australia: 14th February 2019

Traffic History Report Received: 5th March 2019

Medical Passed: 4th April 2019 (this was approved to be extended by IRCC)


I haven’t received any further updates – no request for biometrics up to this date.
I know that we just have to trust the process but I am concerned that everything was moving along so quickly and it seems to have just stopped now.
Does anyone have any history with Sydney Australia visa office?

Almost everyone who’s app is still in progress seem to be at a standstill for the last few weeks. A good majority of us haven’t heard anything since March. Lots of ppl still stick in Sydney. I think anyone who was lucky enough to get through this quickly already has. The rest of us are in it for the long haul I’m afraid.

GCMS notes should have been delivered on the 6th but nothing came. I requested a status update and they said they’ve put a priority flag on there. I’ve read that sometimes they’re delayed as you can be in the security check stage and they don’t like releasing them there... just got to wait again

Hi Guys. Has any one seen any movement of file which was transferred to IR CC- Mississauga on or after Feb 27th 2019?. I know lot of them were asked to provide additional documents. Wonder if any one got PPR after proving documents.

We got an email from NDVO to submit photographs showing marrige rituals,and together family pics,please if some one can guide how many photographs will be sufficient to meet the requirements.
We have submitted 20 pics when file was
Sent to Sydney office.

Hey,

We have a very very similar timeline and also transferred to Sydney, Aus. We're in the same boat as you with lots of action at the beginning with AOR1, SA, File Transfer, AOR2, Medical, all happening within about 6 weeks. It's been radio silence for the last 6 weeks since then, though. I think that's probably pretty normal. They gave us a lot of communication at the beginning to get the information they needed, and now our files are likely in a cue for processing. I'm hopeful that June will be our time! Looking back across the last year on the spreadsheet that this forum keeps, the (very few) Australian applications seem to get processed in the 6-8 month range...

I know you’ve been a bit absent because of ur lack of activity and waiting on ur notes. I have a qs whenever you pop ur head in, if you don’t mind too terribly.

For submitting the additional docs/pics into a file, do you know if it should be a PDF or WRD file? I’m KNOW I’m going to have send them an obscene amount of things, PDF seems the better option but does CIC accept pdf? Do you know if it’s VO specific as to what they accept? I’m sure they’ll let me know in the email they eventually send us, but I kinda wanted to compile it an have it at the ready lol. Any help would be super appreciated.

But yes, CIC accept a *.pdf
