You only receive an email telling you when and where your file is transferred -- it doesn't appear in either eCAS or GCKey.Does your ECAS show that your file has been transferred to Mississauga or do you see it only in your GCKey?

He is telling a lie to you, he should be able to link the application. Just that he does not want to be bothered (imagine if 50 of his clients keep asking him to provide an update every day).I filed my application with the help of an immigration consultant and he mentioned that he is not able to link my application to GCKey for the last two months, am planning to take authorization so that I can view the GCKey updates directly.
As of now, I have access only to ECAS which shows the medical results have been received (upon calling CIC I found out that medical test has been passed). Does your ECAS show that your file has been transferred to Mississauga or do you see it only in your GCKey?
Tomorrow is my 30 days after Medical request !!@kcward7 I've been looking in to Bring Forward Dates (BFD) after you mentioned it in the December thread.
So I found the following thread:
https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/what-is-bfd-explained.39705/
So if we applied the logic that the last time CIC provided me with a time driven communication, they'd set my BFD 30 days from the 19th Feb when they requested my medical? Would I be right in assuming that say my background checks or eligibility review passed before that date they'd get back to me quicker than the BFD?
By this logic, I hope this means that we get a DM tomorrow! Since our med request was on Feb 19/2019, I really hope this is the case!@kcward7 I've been looking in to Bring Forward Dates (BFD) after you mentioned it in the December thread.

To my understanding the transfer email is just a notice, it does not reset since it’s not a time driven request.Josh a qs if you don’t mind lol
Is the BFD generated solely from a time driven communication with expected input from the PA, such as the medical? Or would it then reset based on the transfer communication on the 27th?
It looks like it’s based on a time driven communication. However, I’ve seen additional documents requested with a 30 day time limit, only for them to be submitted quickly and worked on straight away.Josh a qs if you don’t mind lol

I’d imagine it’s at the discretion of the case agent if they want to pick it up sooner, and the 30 day BFD just ensures it gets looked at again...
All theories really, hence why I asked @kcward7 for input.
thanks BenCIC can ask for more supporting documents at any point to confirm genuineness in the relationship , just got to have enough and more at all times, I just submiited more photos, emails ,phone longs after application submitted as well now.
Yes that is the way I did it. It’s been over a month
Don't stress too much. It's ok - it hasn't been very long. Just be patient. They will ask for Biometrics when they need it. They are probably busy checking the other documents that you have already submitted.I am just stressing out
Any updates on your Medical yet? Or any extra requests from CPC-M?For those who followed my case for the medical not passed, not even received. (Done March 1st)
I sent a webform yesterday to see if at least they got it, just got an email and they didn’t get anything from what they say.
I called the docteur at least 10 times this week, send numerous emails, he even told me the system has been hacked and couldn’t connect yesterday.
So here I am, I have 6 days to get it there. Wish me luck! Can t bieleve I paid that much for that exam and have to track it all day.
