Receipt number, do you mean after i pay the money for the citizenship application?
because that's the only receipt number i have on my hand so far..
I did try the link above before as well,
but it keeps saying "can't search my record"..

alright..if it may take 64 days, probably i should be more patient now

Yes, you choose the receipt number option, then use the number on your payment receipt. It should start with a letter and then nine digits.

AOR has been averaging 2-3 months... it’s hard to be patient, we all understand. ;)

Hi, biometrics are when you have to give your fingerprints and photograph. It will be your husband (the PA) who has to provide them and he will do them from Peru if that's where he is based when they ask for them. They will contact the PA and ask him to pay a biometrics fee if he hasn't already and then provide further information as to how/where you provide them. He will provide them at a VAC - there's a list of them on the CIC website.

Thank you so much and good luck to everyone. Hoping that this process is short so we can enjoy the company of our loved ones soon

Try using Gckey instead and make sure u answer ‘2’ to how many people are in the file question ‘Principal Applicant and sponsor’
Hello...if I'm sponsoring my husband and my 9-year-old stepdaughter, that means I have to put 3 to how many people are in the file right? Thank you kindly for whoever answers this

I’m sorry my post was a joke to some. I’m new to things and was concerned but that’s not allowed I guess. Good luck to everyone here.
Hello...I'm sponsoring my husband and my application was received November 29th and of today February 10th, we still haven't received AOR yet. I know it's frustrating/discouraging but just hang in there. We have to have lots of patience. All the best to you and everyone

Yes, it’s Sponsor + Applicant + Any dependents, so in your case it’ll be 3.

but how do you usually receive the AOR?
by email or the courier?

Hi,

I need quick help. I got an email from IRCC on February 07, 2019 for biometrics payment. I am my self a Principle Applicant I just paid my fee and got a receipt on my registered email address. Can any one tell me how to upload it on webform because in biometrics fee letter they mentioned "This letter refers to your application for permanent residence." but I applied for spousal visa my spouse is living in Canada.
I am bit confused what to do next.
Any help will be highly appreciable.
Thanks.

If you are asking for addition in the form then you only have to count your principal applicant and the dependents so it will be 2 on the form but if you are asking about linking the application online then yes its 3 including you

Hello all,

I have submitted my application from Hong Kong on the date of 27 Nov, 2017, and the Fedex delivery was received by S.Desaux on the 3 dec, 2017.
I am the sponsor, and my wife is the applicant.
However, it's already been about 2 months time, i still don't receive nothing from any of them,
i do not even have the AOR1 yet.

my wife and I are quite worried, because we don't have the AOR1, and don't have any reference number,
so we have no way to check the status..

anyone has encountered this progress before?
and do you guys have any suggestions on such case?

Thanks alot!
I think you should wait for a month before judging the situation.
AOR emails can take 4 months from the date of receiving applications in some cases.

Hopefully you'll get the AOR soon. :)

Did most of you pay your biometric fee upfront?
I am not sure why I overlooked it but I didn't pay the biometric fee upfront. I haven't been requested to pay it yet, but was wondering if it would be of any benefit to pay it now and upload the receipt before they even ask. Or should I just wait for the request?

I paid mine upfront as the application stated I needed to. I'd just wait till they request it, I believe once they've requested it, you can upload it via GCKEY and don't have to go through the web form.
