Thanks for everyone's responses and help here.
I am wondering, looking at the status below.....can anyone tell me whether my file has been transferred yet or no?
Not sure if they would ask for Bio and Med and start processing BGC without the transfer?

You should get an email (to the sponsors email) that your application has been moved to your local VO. It’s not uncommon for this staged to be skipped and you only find out its moved when the PA gets the AOR2 email and ECAS changes under the PA’s section with a portion stating acknowledgment of receipt was sent out on xxx date.

Hi all,
I got message in GCKEY as below,

Dear XXX XXX:
This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:
XXXXXXX - XXXXXX XXXXXXX:
> Marriage photos: Photos should also include pictures taken of the principal applicant
and the sponsor together on other occasions, before and after the wedding.
This must be received at this office by: 2019/04/07

In order to continue processing your application we require the documentation identified above.

I submitted 3 pre-wedding (engagement photos) & 4 post wedding photos which was taken at different occasions along with the application. But still they ask more photos. Is it a common?
Can you guys help me, to be exact what kind of photos they need. anyone encounter this issue before.

Most of my post wedding photos are selfies, is IRCC accept selfies??
FYI- My file is in CPC-Mississauga, (outland Applicant), PA from India.

Your guidance is very much appreciated.

They’ll accept any photos so long as they’re related to what they’ve asked for. When you submitted the 20 photos did you do them over a decent period of your relationship?

Do you have friends who took photos at the wedding you could get hold of?

Hi Josh,

Thank you so much, you are a wealth of knowledge.

Would it be possible to go down to London un prompted or would I need the request? I work away in France and I am home this weekend to get my medical - I was thinking mabe I could try and kill two birds with one stone?

I am sort of worried that it's been forgotten about given the stage my application is at, do you think this is possible?

Kind regards,

Sarah
Sarah hi, you can do yout biometrics in France too (or in any other country)

Do you have any photos taken by a professional photographer? I would suggest including those if you can...selfies can be good but usually in a wedding there should be like a few professional shots in there as well. @JoshC is also right in asking if you have photos taken by friends.

The only reason they asking for more pictures is because they suspect something fishy or insufficient evidence to convince themselves the the pictures are legitimate. Did you give the maximum limit of photos they requested? Also my advice is to include names (first and last names) of the people in the photo(s), such as best friends, family members, etc.. They want to see you guys with guests, people in the background. Family or other outings, honeymoon pictures, etc. Add the actual names of the locations you guys visited in the pictures such, buildings, beaches, resorts, hotels, etc. Hope this helps you goodluck!
