I just wanna share this experience when crossing border for flagpole.
I received COPR October 31st (Nov 5th applicant).
As I was already in Canada, Paris office mailed in Canada my COPR. We decided with my husband to go to Rainbow bridge to do the landing as IRCC did not get back to me for interview in Etobicoke and I needed to get it done asap.
Rainbow Bridge is only open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8 am - 12 am. We left after my husband work and reached there at 7 pm. The agent told us that the office is close as they have too many demands (as they get very busy in the morning they usually close in morning when they have received enough applicant for the day). She was nice and told us to try other bridge but they might be dealing with same issue.
We decided anyway to try the Lewinston bridge (15 min further) and asked if there were open, At 8.30 pm there were accepting our request and they processed my PR in 1hr30 mn. Very nice officers there, I highly recommand to go to this bridge as no chance you ll get to rainbow bridge in the afternoon.
